What is eBay's policy when a seller does not offer combined shipping but combines shipping on their end?
I recently purchased 5 sport coats and paid $13.95 EACH for shipping and was more than a little pissed off when they all arrived (very wrinkled) in one USPS Priority Mail box.
Send the buyer a polite message with an humble request for some type of refund to recoup some of your shipping expenses. If the seller declines, then hit him with low DSRs on each coat and neutral feedback. DO NOT THREATEN HIM WITH NEUTRAL/NEGATIVE FEEDBACK, as this will give him a valid excuse to have it removed. I really hate to even advise you leave any less-than-positive feedback. However, what he did was over-the-top shitty.
