I looked those up when you mentioned them and I'm still undecided on what I want/need. I hadn't considered strobes as I didn't think they offered anything more.

Now, I'm not a photo guy. I really don't enjoy taking pictures, but I want to A) do it well (enough), and B) cut down time. In my current setup, certain colors are impossible to photograph (greens, to name one). Beyond that, I have to adjust pictures in order to correct the exposure/color.

To anyone that really knows photography, some basic questions:

  • Can I do just as well with continuous lighting vs strobes?
  • How many strobes do I need?
  • Are speed lights inferior to strobes?
  • What exactly do I need to wirelessly setup strobes?
  • If, by any chance, you happen to know what I need in German, that would be even more helpful!

Basically, I'm not into photography as a hobby, so I need someone to say "buy this," or "don't buy that."

Thank you to anyone with any helpful info!

Oh, and @bpk1, I don't have any advice to offer, but sorry for the recent difficulties you've had with returns. I'm sure everyone knows the pain of dealing with difficult people and unhelpful customer service reps. Hope it works out for you!

My follow up question to the eBay specialist - what protection do we as sellers have that they aren't damaged when returned? They basically said it's part of selling online and a risk that we accept as sellers... Are you KIDDING ME? Alright, so then they won't mind that I bill them for the ~$500 value differential when I get back a pair of sunglasses with scratched lens'... that seems fair..

eBay and PayPal couldn't give a shit about the seller, in my experience. I had a buyer who claimed their details had been stolen, so best case scenario they were lax with their online security and worse case they were fraudulent, with paypal complicit, knowingly or not, and the person who lost out - me, because I was selling a non physical product that delivery couldn't be proven on - because of someone else's problem, or dishonesty. It wasn't a great deal of money, about £30, but it pisses me off.

How would you describe this non Coogi Sweater It is a "Purely Australian" brand made in Australia. I see other listings that say "Coogi Like" but don't want to get my listing pulled.... (or can you say "brand name - like" ?) I'd also rather not say Cosby in my listing. :embar:.

Thanks in advance!!
