Non Payer...

When I reminded her/him about payment, they responded with "Oh I bid on a few different shoes at the same time, I won the ones I wanted, so can you please just cancel the transaction?"

Opened a case, she has 2 non payments right now...

Honestly just a dumb eBayer...He/She thinks they can just bid bid bid, not pay on what they dont want...

I did the multiple bids thing recently. I paid for both and wound up with two things I wanted for roughly the same spot in my wardrobe. Oh darn.

Hey guys,

Is there any way to get personal information about an ebay id? Or what is the best way? Some suspected theft and need to find out who this person is...

Well that happens, but atleast you paid for it...Your are abiding by a contract between you (the buyer) and the seller to forgo with any and all payments due subject to bidding.

Another one to add  greek.heritage

Bought a coat, last sunday, I listed some other things, messaged said they wanted to buy 2 other small items i had just listed.  I agreed to add BIN prices to the one that didn't and shipping would be free as they would fit in the same box with the coat...haven't a heard a word since Monday...never paid for the coat, hasn't bid on other items...

Checked feedback (100% of course, how the hell could a buyer not have 100%) but 2 or 3 Positive feedbacks saying DOESN"T PAY

My post was intended to be a tad sarcastic- I now have two things I like to wear rather than one, and I'm quite happy with that.

Were you in a transaction with the person already?

Well, she'll be bloacked from me anyway, since my preferences are set to block anyone with 1 or more nonpaying case.

Block; about 10 non payments this month alone. I didn't catch it until well after I sold the item and the buyer hadn't paid.

A buyer request me to ship the item (a Dries Van Noten sport shirt which selling price around $50) to Brazil. Since I am new to eBay and never sell internationally before, this is quite confusing process for me.
I went to USPS websites to check the price quote, I will use "Priority Mail® International Legal Flat Rate Envelope" with the price is $23.95. So is this final cost for shipping a package? Will there any other extra fee (custom, tax, duty...)? And is there any suggestion for shipping method that is cheaper and better than the one I am going to use? Is there anything that I should keep in mind when doing international transaction?

Thanks

When you guys do BIN, do you usually set the price and wait as long as it takes, or do you give it a couple weeks and then mark it down?

Depends how bad I want to sell it and how close it's priced to what it's really worth. I generally won't change the price mid-auction though, will wait until the 30 days expires. If you have a store, you can run "sales" which probably attracts more attention as well.

I usually list stuff on the high side and expect offers as everyone likes to get a "deal". I will wait until I get a fair offer (hence Brioni that just sold for $275 took 3 months to sell). Had a few $200 offers in the first few days, but knew it was a $275-300 suit to the right person. I also factor in the number of view and watchers but typically after 3-4 weeks I;ll put it on 15-20% off sale for 5-7 days then when the sale is over I will mark it down to the sale price and start over in 3-4 weeks again. Some higher end items will just go on sale and stay put as I know what they will usually sell for.

As said, it all comes down to how fast you want to sell it. As long as the price is close to FMV then its just a waiting game for the right person to come along who likes it and wants it. I would say most items sell within the first 7 days or take about 45 days on average to sell.

Must be PTO, but are you sure they are really Alden? The side wall numbers seem wrong as far as typesetting and arrangement.
