Buying and Selling on eBay: Tips, Tricks, Problems & Questions - Page 1773

You guys might want to include this guy in your blocklist. Sold him a tie, for some reason the tracking didn't upload properly, and so he opens an item not received case requesting a refund against me about 2 1/2 weeks later. I update the tracking and of course it says it had been delivered 18 days ago, unsurprisingly he stops responding. Here's proof and his name. I won the case.

Someone tried to do that to me with a suit once, had to ship at post office and forgot to upload tracking, 3 weeks later he opens a item not received case, I uploaded tracking and told him it shows delivered 15 days prior. He closes out case immediately. Fuckin scumbag

Yea he didn't close it, he just denied it and left the case open. (unfortunately eBay won't do anything to crooked buyers like these)

***sigh*** I thought that you guys received all of the strange buyers. Apparently, I was due an odd request. So, I had listed a Mountain Hard Wear jacket that was scheduled to end this evening at 8 EST. It was listed with a $9.99 minimum and a $39.99 BIN. Well, it had received 7 bids (5 in the last few hours) and was up to $23.00. Then, a guy jumps on the BIN price with 5 hours left in the auction. Sounds great, right? He pays immediately. Then I see that ominous "buyer left you a note about this purchase". I click on it to see this:

What would you do?

Dear buyer -

Thanks very much for your interest and Im quite pleased you like the jacket that much! We can only honor the final bid or buy it now price that the buyer places, but I appreciate you asking. If you wish to cancel the transaction, Im happy to do so as Ive received a few messages from the other bidders who are prepared to pay more than the original buy it now, so please let me know as soon as possible if you have changed your mind. Thanks again!
