Here's a new request I've never had:

A guy wants me to trace my foot on a piece of paper and email it to him so he can determine whether he would fit a pair of shoes. Sounds incredibly strange and I'm definitely not doing it, but I think he's serious about this plan.

can that be right??

Assuming they're under 2 lbs, I just calculated a price to Australia and got $51.05. $33.95 if you can fit them in a padded flat rate envelope. First Class would be $22.75.

Australia is an E-Delcon country, use first class and you can get tracking the whole way.

Anyone know why eBay doesn't allow you to make labels through them for certain countries?  I got one from Poland yesterday and I know Russia was one of them as well.  I had no issues printing out from USPS though.  I tried PP initially, but they only allowed flats/letters as options.

You should be able to, I am not aware of any restrictions. They actually call out Russia specifically in their FAQ

I'd like to sell to buyers in Russia. Can I print and pay for postage to Russia using eBay labels?

  • Yes, eBay labels make it easy to purchase and print postage for shipments to Russia. We recommend you use a tracked service such as USPS Priority Mail International®, which is now available on eBay Labels. You can also use eBay labels for USPS First Class Package International Service® to Russia.

This is so strange.  I specifically recall eBay telling me to go to the post office to ship out for Russia and I thought I read someone else had that same issue in this thread.  Weird..

I got this message this morning. Any thoughts? Would I be covered by Ebay/PayPal if I did this? Buyer has 200+ feedback.

I THINK you'd be OK as long as you post tracking #s. Just a hunch, though.

Never heard this one before.. super friendly buyer just wants you to save money by not having to pay the postage yourself? How nice.

My skeptical self would probably just decline and buy my own postage to be 100% sure nothing funny was going on - but that's just me. Obviously though if you use the one he's going to buy (on his company's dime which seems like an odd perk) then just have to be sure the address matches his confirmed PayPal and upload that tracking on the transaction.

Is there a better iOS camera app? I'm currently using Camera+, but having trouble keeping consistent exposure and color temp.

I still do everything from my phone. Most of my pics I take outside so I get that good natural light. I keep saying I'll cave and get a more legit setup but I can't justify it right now.

Over/under on this one making the PTO Roundup? Fingers crossed as it went up $9.99 no reserve.  Has anyone had luck posting Polo auction stuff on a dedicated Polo forum to generate more eBay bids?
