The duck ez start is amazingly good. Cost me about $3 for the 50 yard roll with the dispenser but they're refillable so I paid like $2.50 for a 2 pack of refills.

Thing I hated about Scotch...IT'S SO LOUD.

Scotch sells a "quiet" packing tape now...which I thought was amusing as hell, but it really is quiet.  Anyhoo - the tape doesn't bug me, it's the little bit of "peel off to expose adhesive" strip that usually doesn't peel off with the rest of it on the USPS boxes.

Haha yeah I was just cosigning his ez start Duck tape suggestion. The corners of the self-adhesive USPS boxes are fucking awful.

Thought it might be a little tougher to move due to the smaller size. Sold in about 5 hours.

he'll try to pull a fast one on you in shipping rates.  Guy lives in Portugal, claims he has an address in new jersey.  Sent him an updated invoice for a lower shipping rate, and what happens is his paypal address is you guessed it, Portugal.

Absolutely! One of the most annoying parts of shipping. That little piece of stubborn adhesive has wrecked my serenity on numerous occasions. By the way, have you tried Duck EZ Start tape? It is the green label tape sold at Wal-Mart. Trust me, it is worth a trip to Wally World to buy this tape. Phenomenal ease of use.

That EZ Start tape is great.  But, have you tried the Priority Mail tape from USPS?    Obviously you can't use it on non-Priority packages, but it is some of the best and strongest tape I have tried.  AND, here is why I like it even better.  IT IS FREE!    I used to be able to order it on the website with other shipping supplies.  But, then the link to it disappeared.  I asked my mailman at my office and he checked into it.  He said he wasn't sure why it couldn't be ordered anymore.  But, he brought me three rolls.    Then, when I got a new mailman  (he wasn't so friendly), I asked the people at the post office.  The first few said that they couldn't give me any.  But, there is one counter person that I have gotten to know (it helps to be friendly to them) and she always sneaks me a roll or two when I ask nicely.

Now don't everybody run out and inundate the counters asking for tape!  You have to be a little sly.  I am not suggesting this is illegal or against the rules.  I think it is just one of those things if you ask nicely you can get it.   So, build a relationship with your mailcarrier or the local counter person and then ask for some.  I love it.

The existential dread at the beginning of every month:

'If my items were good enough they would've sold already last month. Not like I added too much fresh inventory this month. I'll never sell anything again OMG OMG!'

I received my Dymo LabelWriter 4XL today. Unfortunately, it came after I'd finished packaging my weekend orders, but this thing is going to be a change for the better...

Now I just have to wait on the labels, which are on back order.
