Man.... Slowest sales weekend in months. What's going on?

I've converted everything to BIN listings since I'm going to be on vacation in Hawaii from December 4 though 13, and really don't want to deal with non-paying buyers up to the last minute. Hopefully those half-drunk buyers will buy a bunch of stuff.

Did anyone else receive the '$10 max final value fee' offer from E-bay today?

I activated it and was able to lower my Rolex BIN price $700 bucks. Hopefully it'll move before I take off Wednesday.

My busiest week ever. 70+ items sold, lots of shipping to do.

Yeah, my best week in a while. Few high dollar (for me) items moved tonight.

Yeah, if the top speed of your car can double the top speed of the fastest download on the board, you get no sympathy.

I've had 45 sales since Tuesday morning, which isn't horrible. But the auction sales today were about half of what they were last week. I've also been getting a lot more messages to the tune of "I'll offer you 50% of your start price".

It's really weird, because looking at the week ending yesterday, that was one of my busiest weeks of the year. Hopefully the BINs will sell a lot in the next few weeks. I'm going to let them ride through New Years and see what happens. And all new listings will stay BIN until January.

that feeling when you missed defected areas UNTIL you are packing shit up ready to ship and then have to write a message to the buyer.

fuckery

I concur. It's not the volume that has been off. It's the weak bidding and lowball offers. I just figured that people were in a pre-Black Friday holding pattern.

Ebay entrepreneurship is no different... A friend posted this on Facebook earlier.

If anyone here has this in their listings, you're doing it wrong...

Guh, the lowballs. I woke up to this:

Would you consider selling me your (extremely heavy and bulky wool coat) for $25 shipped?

C'mon, you cheapskate. The opening bid is $25. Shipping is going to be $15. I'd rather give the coat to a homeless shelter than play stupid lowball games with an unknown eBay buyer who can leave me a neg for anything or nothing at all.
