Yea he said he just opened it and noticed it had been dry cleaned and said there were probably more problems than the two small (nonexistent) defects in lapel. This guy bought it using best offer then asked me three days later what the condition was since it was used and I told him that it was worn Manet a handful of time. Two days go by and nothing, open a no payment case, pays two days later. Now 16 days after delivery opens return request. For sure buyers remorse but I'm sure eBay will side with him.'trying to get him to just take a partial refund. He knew what he was buying and now wants to be an asshole

Edit: That address is a different fucking state than the one on his paypal account. wtf.

100% win for you if you shipped to provided address. Call Ebay.

I just got off the phone with them and they told me I couldn't escalate until Friday. Was she foolin'?

No, they do have timelines for escalation depending on the scenario. It really doesn't matter. Like Fueco said, this is a no-brainer. As long as you ship to the provided address, you are in the clear. If you decide to honor their request and ship it to the other address, make sure that they pay for the additional shipping and handling charges UP FRONT. This is 100% not your fault. You are not responsible for their carelessness.

I got an eBay case closed in my favour the day it was opened for the exact same thing last week. Not sure why they're telling you to wait until Friday.

FYI, buyer then opened a PayPal case and won. I had to call in and deal with 3 PayPal reps before they paid me back for the shipping cost and acknowledge that it's not my responsibility to ensure the buyer enters the correct address.

I have literally never waited more than 3 or 4 minutes including prompts.

That's the same number I've been using. I have no idea what's going on but I have yet to get through.

Do you go through your ebay page and get the 7 digit number to enter? No idea if that helps get you through faster, but I use it every time and I never have issues (knocking on wood).

Yes, have done that every time. No clue what's going on.
