What do you think? Bought these new with tag and I unfolded them and it seems there is some shelf discoloration. My wife doesn't see it, but I do. Would these be permanent? A casual glance I don't see them but for $120...

How do you guys go about returning items? The pants are obviously defective and there was no picture or description in the listing. Would you contact the guy or just go straight to return for defective and give him a defect? He seems okay and has 700+ feedback 100% positive.

I would contact him, I have sold pants before and not noticed small holes or discoloration when listing

I agree, @Shoeluv, contact him amd give him a chance to make amends. I think most of us sellers have made mistakes like that before. Besides, you can always go the defect route if you have to.

So I did and he says return them and he will refund after receiving them. Not sure I feel comfortable with this, how do I stay protected from eBay? Also is it unreasonable to expect him to pay shipping as well?
