So true. I did 48 times on an item I paid 10$ for. A perfect Zilli suit. Coulda done better though. My tie record is still 125 on a NWT Tom Ford.
241%. Paid $3.49, Sold for $843.

Now THIS is awesome. Has anybody tried this in their auctions? I might have to re-think my listing style.

I wonder what's the record. There was someone in the thrift awards thread who found $1000 cash inside a Kiton Cashmere overcoat (jesus christ). That has to be close. Wes with the gold buttons is up there too. In general, that list has to be skewed towards small items like ties and belts, I think.

That's the way I'm leaning too, but I would like to get an acknowledgement that I don't have to refund it.

Sounds petty, but I've looked over the photos and blown them up and can't see anything.

OK, Talked to ebay. They're closing the case in my favor.

They said the dude is no longer covered by the ebay guarantee and that since I have provided photos, and a copy of the USPS delivery confirmation proving he had it for 38 days, 8 over the limit. They also said that they would remove any negative feedback he tries to leave.

I messaged the guy and told him to send me pic's of the damage anyway and I'd try to work something out with him. So I'm covered.

Is any other Mac / GS users having any problems with entering item specifics? It seems that all the "necessary" item specifics to fill in are no longer necessary.. and no suggestions pop up in auto fill when typing. Worked fine this morning, but not now. Its not in every category either. Anyone try?

I've been running into this off and on as well...sometimes it won't even tab down to the next one, and other times it won't pre fill brands.

Also, My "country / region of Manufacture" was updated recently, and won't fill in unless I delete and re-choose the option again...

It won't tab down unless you've edited another item in the same category once before in your folder already. Once you edit one shoe, you can tab through the rest of the shoes you are working on.

This is a great thread. I gave been buying and selling on ebay for over 10 years in Canada. I have found it getting more difficult over the years to make a decent profit. What has worked for me however is to concentrate on customer service as much as possible. While you won't make everybody happy 100% of the time you will get more repeat customers.
