Ssoooooo it looks like I picked up my first orphan. Should I even bother listing this and if so, any tips? I'll be sure to mention its lacking pants.

I list orphans all the time. I don't ever label them as orphans, or suit jackets. I've sold pinstripe orphans for $75 before (it was a dual vent, recent Zegna).

Im not sure why everyone makes a big deal of a 1099.... You were going to report the $19,618 anyway, right?

So now you just need to report $1,000 more... Anyone suggesting knowingly not report large sums from paypal (and then posting it on the internet) is asking for trouble IMO.
Of course I was going to report it

My main concern is that the information that I was getting from PayPal that I assumed was reliable was actually a little over 5% off. That seems like an unacceptable margin of error.

Anyway, doing some research on this, I came across a PayPal add-on called Outright. Browsing this thread, it seems like people use it. Does it track one's year-to-date sales?

Yes, it does. I signed up for Outright(now GoDaddy Bookkeeping) last year and really like it. The Outright figures matched my PayPal 1099 exactly.

Crazy thing just happened to me...I had a negative feedback removed from my account without any knowledge of how...the Negative was placed against me last week, and when I looked today, it was removed. No email, no notification, no explanation...anyone ever have this happen to them?

Yes. I had one months ago that claimed "slow shipping, received faster from china". It was to someone in Canada and it had been 5 days. But it was removed about 2 weeks ago, and I'm extremely excited to have my 100% back.

I had a positive removed because the buyer commented "really nice ****", and eBay deleted it after a while it due to obscenity (they meant to say "really nice shirt"). Otherwise, never had feedback just disappear for no apparent reason.

The good:

Mannequin has arrived. Test shots below:

The bad:

Some dope sent me a message several days after bidding asking to confirm that some shirts were size 17.5 - 33 and saying he didn't think they made them that size. I provided pictures of the size on the shirt and a link to the manufacturer's site and that size. That was 2 hours before the auction was to end. Then he sends me this:

"Ah, unfortunately that's a bit big for me, but thank you for your reply!

- antfic9"

And the guy has zero feedback.

*facepalm*

Do I hold him to it? Just agree to cancel it? (leaning toward the later)

EDIT
PS: RE: Mannequin background: I don't have a big space or anything clean and white, so I just went with what I think is at least an interesting backdrop. Thoughts?

Naa, some doofus who's been around for a little bit.
--
But to follow up on this now that its been 10 freakin hours since it happened...check this, might be something that has yet to happen to anyone...and, I'll try to keep the story short

-Seller wants to return item, stating defective, because measurements didn't work for him...
-Contacted eBay, they confirmed, false accusations for return, and abusing the return system.
-eBay informed me, I can go ahead and charge my restock fee. (basically, he categorized the return under "item defective" to avoid a restock fee, and have me pay for shipping both ways.
-OK, so I get item back, and go to refund through eBays "hassle free return system" page, and of course I cannot edit the price, because of XYZ...
-So I go through PP, and this dumbo paid with a gift card...fine...SO, this stops me from refunding a partial amount.
-NEXT...sent the buyer some funds, all documented and whatnot. I had to go this route, because this allowed me to send what ever $ amount I needed to.
-So on the advice of eBay, I give this guy his freaking money back, minus the restock fee, and he paid both ways shipping.
-This guy slaps me with a negative, I call eBay, they say they cannot remove it, because the grounds were permitted for what he wrote. I was informed by eBay, that since he violated the return system, that any feedback left on his end, would constitute a removal...problem was, it required a case to be opened on the grounds he stated, for the removal to take place...

WELL THIS IS WHERE IT GETS INTERESTING...IN MY FAVOR, Lone Behold, when you manually refund a buyer through PP, and not through eBays "hassle free" system...the return shows active still...meaning it does not close itself out...well after 7 days of the system not knowing that I already manually refunded, a case was opened and automatically escalated!

So of course I call eBay to find out wha the hell is going on now...eBay basically told me everything I said above...system opens after so long because it does not recognize the return has already taken place...they go through notes, check PP for return, all the good ****....MIND you this was early in the AM...so few hours later I notice the negative removed...took me a bit to realized it was because a case was opened, sided in my favor, then small print tells me any feedback left will not effect the account because it was sided in my favor...

Holy **** that was longer then I wanted...sorry...

LESSON LEARNED: Just deal with fuckheads, give them their money, and don't rely on eBay to remove negative feedback based on someone abusing return system...even if eBay agrees on the abuse...

I go lucky...real lucky, thank you eBay system!!!

Too many pronouns... huh?

If you mean the shirts, they're just Land's End super basic oxfords...
You can get that **** to move?
