...I love waking up to three frantic messages from a buyer that didn't bother to look at pictures or read a description until after he won the auction and paid.

I'm in the same boat. I'm a fairly low volume seller, so I think I'm going to have to kiss my top rated seller discounts goodbye when the new system goes online. That or really ramp up my sales (which I need to, but I have a severe deficit of time).

Hey guys!

So this guy from Brazil bought one of my SCs and I'm fairly happy since I never ever imagined it would sell this high.

Thing is, it's clearly stated in my listing that international buyers have to wait for an invoice and he didn't. He paid already but the shipping here is more expensive that I expected (via surface, it's fucking long). Can I revise an item invoice? I don't see where to do that.

The guy already agreed with that..

You will need to send him a paypal money request for the difference.

Venting.....

How is it that ebay sellers are held to such a high standard of service, which is increasingly impossible to maintain.....yet I spend the first couple hours each Monday morning canceling transactions for buyers who don't feel that a binding bid contract matters.

thanks! that was my last 'solution', I thought eBay would have some kind of system for doing that :o already done, thanks!

The weirdest thing is that eBay won't collect its 10% this way... ?!?!?!?!? I wonder why there is no integrated system in eBay just for that

Would you accept $20 for the tie. Thanks for your consideration,
Joe

Quote:

Hi Joe,

Thank you for the offer, but I'd only be willing to sell for the listed $25.

If you have further concerns or questions, please let me know. Thank you!

What if I buy two? Also, not sure how well your photo represents the color, is this tie gold or yellow.

[Blah blah blah, it's between gold/yellow, and yeah I'd sell one for $20 if you buy the other at $25 too.]

Please let me know what you think. Thank you!

Quote:
Lets do that then. Please do hold the yellow. I will go for the pink and we will ship together. We can square up in the end on PayPal.

Quote:
Again, please hold the gold tie I am bidding on the pink. Will look a your others but am a huge Brooks Brothers fan.

Hey Joe,

I've relisted the gold tie, item number is # 171334999683. If you put that number into the search field on ebay it will direct you to the listing. After purchasing I can send an invoice to combine the two listings and will ship as soon as I see completed payment.

Thank you for working with me!

I just woke up and spotted this blue beaut. I think I like this one better than the pink. Would it be a problem switching this with the pink.
Thanks again for your consideration,
Joe

lol.

I currently have a no refund policy, should I open up to returns so they stop opening cases? Cases are much worse I'm assuming? What happens if I offer full refunds, still a slash on my account right?
