Yes, this is normal when giving a refund. It even happens when I do 2% and 5% refunds for the My Store Rewards program. Just archive the item and forget about it....or manually mark it as paid and shipped.

Has anyone else had a sudden increase in folks using the BIN option in the last minutes of the auction by accident? It has happened to me 3 times in the last 2 weeks. All by seemingly experienced buyers with normal, non-suspect feedback and a seemingly good track record. I suppose it could be the new site formatting, but I haven't had any issues with bidding/purchasing myself.

Last night it was a suit for $250+ BIN that would have gone off at around $100. He quickly notified me of his mistake and I had to relist the item.

I searched through this thread quickly so forgive me if I passed over this section but is there a recommendation for where to go to get decent listing templates to build off of? I have a graphic for the "store" name and branding but now I need a rough template for spacing the description etc.

Is there a place to find a starting point? Maybe an HTML template where I can change colors/graphics but use the structure?

Seems like 2 days would have been enough time to find it in this thread...biggrin.gif

Just busting your balls a bit.

I am in search of a similar thing. I am not really that fond of the way my listings look currently and would like to find a table of sorts for my measurements and what not....

^ This, I would pay someone $10 for a nice template that includes a measurements table and such

free is better though

I can provide mine if you want something to look at. Not perfect by any means, but you should be able to modify as desired.

I don't have a template per say, but took all of 15 minutes to make an HTML page and then I just reuse that. Do you consider this a template?

GarageSale has nice templates. I had to hack together the table for measurements myself, though.

Would it be SF if I didn't get a little heat for reposting? biggrin.gif I will make sure that I host the HTML frame somewhere for fellow SF'ers once I make one. It shouldn't be all that hard if I have a basic starting point.

I suppose, I guess I think of LuxeSwap as a template or the one that is created here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oA2rVSTn4Vk

I created a unique eBay name specifically designed to go with my "store" and created a header icon already, now I am simply looking to see if there's a premade template so I can see dimensions and structure. I have some limited HTML experience so I could tweak to my appropriate desires I think

Not complaining....just dont understand it... more of my items have been selling on BIN.... I always offer BIN OBO but people just buy them instead of making an offer puzzled.gif Who would do that....even if you save $10 on a $300 item, obviously I'm going to accept your $275 offer if I have it listed for $285 or $295.

Apparently one tip is not to leave behind teal colored TF ties when you see them at a discount. Goddamn, 1 day into the auction and spoo has 2 that are over $180 a piece. I'm pretty sure it's the same pattern I left because I didn't think they'd do well, although I would have been lucky to get $130 with the traffic my listings get.

Pretty sure Spoo always gets more than the in-store cost for Tom Ford neckwear

So for a number of personal reasons, I'm taking a break from selling for the holidays. 0 listings. I have to say, even though I know I'm going to pay for it with diminished traffic in January, it feels GREAT.

Anywho. It seems likely my wife is going to get me a camera for Christmas. Anyone have a recommendation for a solid, reliable (digital) camera in the $200-300 range that: 1) takes decent detailed pictures (mine goes all out of focus); and 2) takes good indoor pictures with the aid of just contractor-style flood lights (see my post a few pages ago) and without requiring a professional lighting setup?
