Sorry. I'm assuming this has been covered god know how many times, but I couldn't find the exact info I needed.

Long story (as) short (as possible): Shirt sold last night (shipping to France through GSP), buyer paid right away and then sent a message saying "please ship to this address instead...." I sent a message back, saying that I am unable to ship to any address that is not associated with their ebay/paypal accounts and explained how the GSP shipping works and told him to add the address to his accounts. I got a response that said, "just ship to this address" and gives me the same address that is not the one it's set to ship to. I send another message, again explaining everything and asking him to add the address to his account and haven't received any response. I dug a little deeper and went to his 'feedback left for others' and noticed that he has a feedback score of 10, but has already left negative feedback for other people. I already have a bad feeling about this transaction. Is there a way to refund him and cancel the transaction without him being able to leave feedback? Should I give eBay a call? Should I just ship to the Paypal address? Help please.

Call eBay. They can walk you through how to amend the invoice with the new address. It is a multi-step process which will involve you and the buyer's cooperation, but it is in fact possible.

Thanks Wes. Things like this end up being hard because of the language barrier. I have sent each message in English and then used Google Translate to translate it to French and I'm not too sure how well it actually works.

Well that wasn't the response I was expecting from eBay. I just talked with a customer service rep in Utah and she said "At this point, just ship the package to the address that the buyer has in his accounts. If you receive negative feedback, we will remove it." I responded with "........uhhhhh.......really?" I'm going to wait to see if the buyer responds and changes the address somehow or at least is willing to before I take her advice.

CAPNWES: Do they make that to accommodate 27 linear feet of hanging space?
The 27 feet are new linear feet of hanging space, which will supplement my existing 55 feet of linear hanging space.

So I will probably need several of those gadgets.

Yes....It's true.....I may have a problem.

Got my first negative today..."Shirt is EXTREMELY ITCHY...not sure where its been"

Any recourse? buyer didn't ask for refund or complain, just left negative...how much does a 99.3% feedback hurt, if it all?

I'd be kinda pissed. I'd rather just give the person a small refund, or take the item back completely.

This is the most ridiculous neg feedback since my guy who thought Vintage meant New.

I would send a request for him to change it. Be sure to mention that you offer hassle free returns and he could have just returned it if he wasn't happy with it, and that he did not even give you a chance to make him a happy customer. This worked for me last week when a dude left Neutral feedback of "shoes a little worn" for a pair of used shoes described as moderately worn. He changed it to a positive "ok". Never hurts to ask.

Remember, try to be polite and pleasant when you ask.

I held back and went with the nice approach, offered full refund including shipping. However, if it remains negative, I have already added him to my favorite sellers and will make things right the next time he tries to sell things

Dear Mr. Buyer,

I'm also not sure where the shirt has been, but I'm fairly certain that it previously belong to the lice and flea infested hobo that was found dead outside the Salvation Army store where I purchased it. This might explain the itchiness. Enjoy your shirt!
