Well I have some questions for y'all. Any help I could get would be greatly appreciated.
-So the extra 50% off sale, is that at every store or select stores?
-Couple of things I'm looking for that I'm not seeing locally here that I was wondering if anyone has spotted in their local stores:

The Dodocase would be in the sailcloth, which is the grey and grey variant. The Wallace and Barnes blackwatch shirt is listed as full price, but I'd guess it's sale in store. Anyone spotted it? Also, if anyone knows of any stores with a lot of Wallace and Barnes.
A couple of musings from this thread:
Robert, you must be one of the most stylish guys in all of Asheville. Love that town btw. I'm assuming the only J. Crew is the one just outside of the Biltmore. On a personal note, you wouldn't front a band and have a record label would you? Oh, and ignore the dumb comments about $53. BTW, do you have either of these already?

Or that Cashmere Tneck? How's the fit? I don't do a slim in J Crew shirts, but the regular fit shirts are fine.
As for J. Crew, a real mixed bag this year. IMO it's like that every year. This bag looks really good though:

The oxford plaids are great too. I'm probably in for another one in a color I wasn't as thrilled with initially, but at $20 if it's half off in store I'm sure I'll get the wear out of it. Oh, and the ties. If you like wool ties at all I'd jump on any J. Crew ties that you like. The wool ties are made in New York and they're very nice. The fairisle ones they did this season, I grabbed the lighter white/grey variant, are nice as well. Made in Italy in fact and look nearly the same as the Engineered Garments ones, but at a much lower price.
On the flip side I thought their sweaters generally were poor though. I was excited to get this Fairisle cardigan they'd had, but when I felt it in store it was a big "no". Horrible hand feel to it. Oh, and that SNS Herning knockoff of sorts that everyone was fawning over, the cardigan. Oof. Got it online and it felt awful. Horrible sweater. Their secret wash shrits are alright, but a bit long. Banana Republic's soft wash shirts are just as good and some of the patterns are better and BR practically gives the stuff away sometimes. In fact the've got a few nice ones on the website right now. I think you can half J Crew and half Banana Republic on those as they both make some bad ones. Outerwear at J. Crew is kinda junky too. Granted I've spent a small fortune on outerwear this season and I'm addicted to pricey enough brands, but generally J. Crew's outerwear doesn't impress me. Chinos are alright. I've done the Stantons. Not nearly as good as my Banana Republic vintage straights from a year or two ago, but their current vintage straights aren't the same.
