I tend to have a problem with the length the most in coats (5'5" / 130 lbs).

^ meant to ask if anyone had a size recommendation.  thanks

$15 isn't bad.. Will they make the sleeves slimmer also for that price?

Can someone confirm whether or not J. Crew carries any of their shoes in stores?

Yes they carry some, but much less than what's online. It depends on what model you're looking for and how big the store is. Why don't you just call ahead?

Has anyone here bought the navy dot Japanese twill BD shirt? It dissappeared from the regular section almost as soon as it was introduced. Then it started popping up in the sale section a couple of different times - each on sale with an extra 30% off sale price (99.99). Most recently (Monday morning) they had xs, s, and m on sale, and, as expected, they dissappeared quickly.

Woo hoo thanks for the tip! I checked just now and it was in sale section. Only medium. On sale for $99.... Minus 30% with MUSTHAVE code. Plus $8.95 shipping. I was waived shipping after talking to the online rep on my last order so I don't mind so much that I had to pay it.

$79.99 total, regularly $138

So for can a tie be worm with this shirt? A heather gray one I'm assuming. If I were to wear a suit with it...what color would work? Sue thing light or dark like the shirt?

And wow this is back in stock in the sale section.... I highly recommend this one. $50 and 30% off

Anyone have any experience with the Dickies collab, primarily, fit? How would you compare to the other J Crew fits?

vs.

The collar looks to be a bit floppy on the jcrew version, but can't be too picky for 70$ for the jcrew vs. 800$ for the ring jacket version.

Really cannot compare the two. One is only fleece. You can get the Ring for around 550 online. No need to pay the mark-up some want. I am hoping mine gets here before X-Mas.

Bayswater peacoat is one of the shortest length peacoat which I've seen. So give it a try

Hey guys,

I just got my Mayweather herringbone top coat (size 36) today and the shoulders and body all seem fine, but I found the sleeves at the wrist to be a bit wide. Anybody know if it's possible to bring it into a tailor and get the sleeves taken in? And how should I be telling the tailor what I want?

Thanks.

Just tell him you want the sleeves trimmed up. I imagine it is constructed similarly to a sport coat, which is really no problem for a decent tailor.

Just got a pair of Bowery slim pants in wool in the dark navy. Looking at it in person, it's a really dark navy, almost black. I was looking for something closer to true navy. Anyone seen this one up close?
