Just looking for some sizing advice as I usually have trouble finding shirts that fit. Below are my measurements:

Neck: 16.5"
Chest: 40" (usual jacket size)
Waist: 30"

Will the slim fit shirts be slim enough for me?

Can any UK customers advise on what the customs hit is usually like?

Bit cheeky but any chance of an SF discount?

Cheers!

I'm a 16, 42, 34 and the slim fit is pretty much perfect for me. I'm not sure if it'll slim all the way down to a 30" waist though.

If you'd like, the referral codes should give you $25 off your first order. Mine is: http://www.ledbury.com/referral_code?ref_id=95844, but there are several others in the the thread too, if you'd like.

If those are your actual measurements, I seriously doubt any of the shirts will work for you. I think the size 15 shirts fit a 38" chest, so 16.5 is probably well over 40.

Actually, I just checked the site and they say the 16.5 slim fits 39-41, but I'm still a bit skeptical.  Maybe you could call and have them take actual measurements on the shirt to compare with something you already have.  The return policy is pretty good, I think, but I don't know if that works in Paris.  That is, unless you're in Paris, IL.

Noticed the same issue in the cuffs with the vanguard dot.  They are not as firm as I expected.  Also had not anticipated the darting in the back of the slim fit.  Hope they fix this, my other makers tend to take up the girth in the seams rather than adding darts.

Lovely colour and pattern, just couldn't get past the darts...personal preference i'm afraid.

Thanks for the responses guys, I agree that it is unlikely they will fit, curse my large neck! I'll take a look at Luxire.

dcamoore,

I agree with your preference. Currently, our slim Colton Ginghams are constructed without darts. Rest assured, we're producing more slim fits in this manner.

Thank you.  I'll check out the Colton Ginghams.

Has anyone else purchased the Colton?  If so, what are your thoughts in the way of fit, and how do the cuffs compare to other shirts you have are they firm or a little less substantial?

If you're in the Nashville area next weekend, Ledbury is hosting a pop-up shop at the Peter Nappi Studio, February 22-23, and we would love to invite you to attend.

To celebrate this pop-up, we created our first ever city-based Short Run collection, five shirts inspired by Nashville.  Stop by the pop-up on Friday and Saturday to shop your favorite shirts and this limited-edition Nashville Short Run, meet the Pauls and enjoy some Belle Meade Bourbon.  We will offer 20% off shirt and accessory purchases made at the pop-up.  Peter Nappi's incredible leather shoes and bags will also be available.

I'll post a sneak peak of the Nashville Short Run soon. For those of you who won't be there, where would you like to see Ledbury next?

Damn I would have loved to have gone to the Nashville pop-up, but I'll be stuck overseas.  Plans to come back this summer if it goes well?

I'm hoping to buy my first ledbury shirt, after having browsed the website for the past 6 months. I was really hoping to find a casual shirt from the company that doesn't need to be tucked in. Are there more of these shirts coming in the future? I remember there used to be a "casual shirt" section that has since disappeared. Also, I saw that there will be shirts without darts coming in March. Are these new, different shirts without darts, or some of the existing shirts made without darts?

Ozzy,

A 17 and 17.5 slim are up for discussion. Keeping up with customer demand is a high priority for us but please understand that we are a young, growing company. That said, we may have a sample available. If so, I can PM you the measurements. Hopefully, it will be a good fit. As always, I appreciate your feedback.

Moloch38,

Unfortunately, it's highly unlikely. However, we'll be in several other states over the course of the year. Hopefully your travels will take you to one of our future pop-up locations.

Hey there,

Welcome to Styleforum! Many of the casual shirts you're seeking are within our Classic Fit and Slim Fit sections.

All casual shirts are constructed without darts and include the Blue Roosevelt Flannel, the Green Avery Brushed Oxford, and the McDaniel Chambray.

Depending on your size, I may have additional shirts available at our retail space.

As for shirts without darts, the Colton Gingham is the first dress shirt without darts. It is available in five colors. Keep in mind, our current selection of dress shirts have darts but we'll introduce more shirts produced in this manner over the course of the year.
