Thanks for the quick reply. Do you have a time frame as to when a solid, slim fit, white Twill with the Ledbury Collar will return?

I found Ledbury online when they were first got up and running. At the time I wasn't overly impressed, but now I see they've come a long way and am very interested in buying my first shirt.

I really like the Green Avery Brushed Oxford slim fit - I'm looking for a shirt that would look great with jeans and a grey Gitman Bros tie to wear when I take the plunge and pop the question to my lady.

In terms of sizing - Gant Rugger (hugger fit) and Gitman Vintage shirts fit me really well. I'm curious if anyone can comment on Ledbury's slim fit vs. those (more interested in body fit rather than sleeve/neck since those are obvious when ordering).

Finally, if any current members have a referral code and would like their $25 - PM me.

So I just received an order of three slim fit shirts from Ledbury and thought people might be interested in reading about my experiences
 

Ordering Process

The ordering process on the Ledbury website is simple and straight forward, however their website is not always accurately linked with their inventory and there was some confusion regarding my order and whether the shirts I had chosen were actually available. This led to a delay in my shirts being shipped out. However after a bit of back and forth over email everything was sorted.

Customer Service

Ledbury's customer service during my transaction was exceptional. Everyone I dealt with over both phone and email was accommodating and polite and my inquiries were responded do promptly. They even threw in a free shirt as an apology got the mix-up discussed earlier!

The Shirts

To give you an idea of where I am coming from most of the shirts in my wardrobe are Brooks Brothers mainline. I also have some Brooks Brothers Black Fleece, Lands End and Zegna shirts. The Ledbury shirts are much nicer then any of these. The fabrics are very soft to the touch, the buttons are awesome and the fit and finish is superb. I would say the fit of the slim fit Ledbury shirts is in between Brooks Brothers Slim Fit and Extra Slim Fit which is just perfect for me. I am very happy with all three of my shirts.

Cost

And now the bad. I purchased these shirts on sale and was happy to pay the cost of shipping to Canada. However Ledbury does not add Duty to its shipping estimate and I was surprised by how large the bill was when the shirts were delivered. Please note I am not blaming Ledbury for this at all but the added cost of duty is enough for me to look elsewhere for my shirts in the future. That said if you live in the US Ledbury supplies a great shirt at a fair price (particularly when on sale ;-)).

Can someone let me know what type of pleat the slim fit shirts have? Center, Box or None?

hockeynut: They may be having an issue with that right now? I gave several people my referral number to use to make accounts and they didn't even show up on my list of "affiliates" (I understand that I wouldn't get any credit until they purchase anything, but I do have several friends who made accounts appear on the list, even without having earned credit yet).

It would be quite annoying not to get the credit after making the account, as I doubt the site will let you make another account to try and get the credit again.
