I would definitely wear one too. They can look really good, although there is a danger you might get sent to a mental hospital

unusual silver rings
Now this is humor....YES!! I can appreciate it.
But lets be serious for a moment : you will not wear them , because you do not like them. Allrigth to me.

Ok, you got me. I changed my mind.

I love capes. They are very beautiful and elegant.

What happened?

It's 4 years since anyone dared talk about wearing a cape, let alone wear one.

Was it all capers or did cape makers fail the mass takeover of woollen coats?

Great thread though :)

errr...what makes an American Cape an American Cape?!

Here's what I found...I don't think that's what you had in mind? Like the guy on the Streetwear & Denim header image - he's wearing some kind of grey half shawl cape or something. I like the idea of Snoopy's Lyness blanket being used as a cape for everything - wrapping up baguettes...keeping warm when trapped in 4 hours of car traffic....using as an emergency picnic blanket...a beach blanket.... a modern update on the humble hoody :)

Oh dear.

I think I've gone off capes since I first started posting about how they might not be so quirky.
