Darn and I'm British by birth too, but live many many miles away now so it would be a long drive/swim.

I moved to London just in time - oh yeah!

Never owned a pair of EG, hopefully that will change.

I'm putting a bounty on size 9G. If anyone can find me a brown laceup, I'll pay a proxy fee! It'll be an easy sell. Not many people with that width. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Short story. Mine and my wife's families both live there, they want to see the grandkids, we only lived in NY for two years after getting married, now it's time to settle down.

I need to remember to take a camera to the sale to show everyone what they missed!!

I have never heard of 9G shoes... interesting.

I have a pair of 8.5Fs but I've never seen a G fitting either.

G width = EEE in Allen Edmonds. It's a British width nomenclature.

There is an admission policy, no foreigners, no northerners (sheep worriers), no hamsters, no-one who wants to buy anything until I've had first dibs!

operation haggis, biscuits, tea-time, cucumber sandwich, big ben, black cab, fish&chips etc., etc., you name it.

fwiw, unfortunately you folks cannot evaluate the uniqueness of the legacy of these shoes. nvm.

no derailment intended. there's its own thread.
