MC Version: Leaving the US, what do you recommend I should buy that this country does well?

I am leaving the US, and chances are I will not be coming back on a permanent basis.

I have a very specific request/ question for SF members.

Before I leave- which is likely to happen by end August - I want to stock up on MC items (clothing, shoes, briefcases etc).

The key is that I want to buy these things that 'fundamentally' and 'essentially' represent the US, and are unique to this country.

For example, I wouldn't buy Edward Green, but I would consider Aldens, yes. Allen Edmonds, also.

And so on.

So if you were to think of the MC items that the US does, and does well, what would these be?

A Hickey Freeman suit? Golden Fleece from BB?

Thanks in advance, this is now a serious quest for me.

Shirts, trousers, shoes, hats, caps, briefcases...hit me.

I have a thread like this for the SW&D forum, so only need advice on MC items here.

I'm leaving with my dignity intact- mostly.

That's my claim, anyway.

How about:

- Cowboy boots from DWF

- Bakers dozen of Kabbaz shirts

- Something cute from Etsy to match boots and shoes

- 20 year subscription to Cinnabon of the Month Club

- Screencaps of Styleforum

- "Live Free Or Die" printed hoody from New Hampshire state liquor store

- Grizzly cub + leash made from Horween shell cordo

The cowboy boots from DWF is an idea.

How much would the styleforum screencaps cost me, and could I get them past customs?

Either India- most likely, or Europe (maybe a 10% chance)

Allen Edmonds during the Nordstrom sale + some summer clearance items from S5A, Barneys, Nordstrom, and Brooks Brothers.

I'm good with Allen Edmonds and Brooks Brothers (well some suits, though they're not made in the USA :D ). What specific US made items from Saks/ Barneys would you recommend? Thanks.

What do you need/want?
Do you need any casual/SW&D items? I think the US makes some great boots, socks, belts,...

I would suggest rain coats and gumboots…. And bespoke wallet with huge lock and cast iron chain attached to it on one end and handcuff on the other end.
lol you can always buy from the internet. Worst case scenario you can use mail forward services.

Robert Talbott ties are something I would look into. Nordstrom usually has them on deep clearance around this time each year.

I'm looking at casual/SW&D items too, have a similar thread open in SW&D too.

Thing is, I don't know what's really high quality made in the US stuff, so I don't know what I want.

I know some stuff- Filson, Saddleback, Makr.....not all of it so suggestions are welcome.
