Great looking ties posted there, and I would be tempted; however, the nice thing about Spoo's auctions is they quickly get too rich for my blood, so I can't be tempted. :embar:

The ties are the worse offenders. They frequently go for damn near full retail price. I don't get it. Good for spoo, though.

The rest of the items usually end up quite reasonably priced.

+1. Once the ties get into a certain range, I ask myself why I would pay that for a tie when I can have a tie made for me by Hober. The end result is that I have bid upon a fair number of the ties Spoo is selling, but have yet to win one of the auctions.

Keep it up! :)

I offer most usually about 75 ties a week, so theres the most assortment there. Ive probably sold over 2000 ties in the last 6 months - there are certainly deals to be had, just keep plugging along. Thanks for looking as always.

Spoo sold a TF tie for me that went for $330 on the eBay, I did a double take at auction closing... :)

Unlike a suit, jacket or shirt one could have 200+ ties and still find a hole in a collection but it would be hard to imagine that with the other options.

Anyone up for a flash meetup this Sunday 5/20?

I'm heading to the Big Apple this weekend and will be dropping in on the George Gee Swing Band at John Brown's Smokehouse in LIC this Sunday from 6-8. Hope some SF'ers can come by.

Be sure to bring your iPads and laptops to participate in the Spoo sniping :rotflmao:

Yesterday I received the two jackets I won this weekend. Thanks for the great, speedy service! This was my first time buying jackets by measurement from ebay. The Charles Tyrwhitt fits almost perfectly, and the Canali should be great after tailoring.
