Happy friday you guys. Have fun poring over Mr. Bigs list for next week.

For those of you keeping track, thats 80 items of his this week, in addition to the past 5 weeks or so - all of similar quality. And we haven't even begun to scratch the surface. Nor have I touched the couple hundred of ties!

Also, can I get a show of hands for anyone who is on the fence about a pair of St. Crispins, Carmina, or Creed? I have to end the sale on Monday.
I might be interested in another bottle of Creed.

Are Aventus and Green Irish Tweed all they're hyped up to be?

I'm no basenotes level expert, but here are my takes:

Aventus is very straight forward and an easy warm weather scent. I don't get the greatest longevity out of it, but YMMV. Less of a problem at this price.

GIT is pretty safe/classic.

Can't speak for Aventus, but Green Tweed is the real deal. One of my go-to scents for most any occasion. Maybe a little heavy for summer (like the fabric itself), but still very versatile.

Scent critic nonpareil Luca Turin loves Green Tweed... and absolutely hates every other fragrance that Creed produces. That has to be worth something.

The bottles to get from this sale are GIT, Virgin island water ( in my opinion, the quintessential summer scent), and Royal Oud. Im smitten with Royal Oud.

I have very little flexibility in the price, but if anyone is interested over the weekend, especially for more than one bottle (or shoe), please let me know ASAP.

Virgin Island Water is a fun summer scent. Silver Mountain Water is probably my favorite (on me). As an aside, some people have age demographic association concerns with various scents, if that matters to you. Or if some scents are appropriate for certain occasions/time of day (no idea, but it's a thing?).

ETA: my current rotation is Tom Ford Rive D'Ambre, Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, Creed Silver Mountain Water, Margiela Jazz Club.

Rotated out Chanel Sycomore, Creed Aventus, Le Labo Rose

29. Live in a pretty warm place. Very rarely in CBD, work in tech.

Agree. Himalaya is pretty awesome too.

And don't any of you have wives, girlfriends, or side pieces that need a thank you for something?

Does it help to say that if there had been a pair of Carminas or St. C's that were in my size and not duplicative of what I already have that I would have bought? I just want your consignor to know that there is interest so that they send more good stuff your way.

Well noted. What size are you again, just for future reference?
