I agree. I tried them as a standard width and they barely made it but too slim for me.

Really good deal on the StC...

Tempted by the grain inverted cap, but so tired of rolling the dice on shoes when I don't have sizing locked down. Great deals, Spoo!

@SpooPoker Whats the width difference between Rain and Robert. I've got a couple of rain lasted shoes where the width is juuuuuust right. Wondering if Robert will be too narrow.

Thanks for these awesome offers!

I tried my same size in both and they felt pretty much the same to me.

My experience of Robert and Rain is that Robert is a little narrower in the heel and forefoot and has a lower instep. I also think Robert is their nicest last.

Might make sense to just get measured with a brannock device.  It will give you one single measurement.  Then you can use that as a reference point when asking for sizing advice for specific lasts.

On barnock I am 10US and all AE 10C park avenue fits fine but I am not 10 on any UK sizing.

Would you go up a 1/2 size from Rain to Robert. instep on the rain last for me is just enough...

Probably not with the derby or monk, since they'd be more adjustable across the instep. I have low insteps, with left lower than right. Robert is great for both feet. For Rain in the same size my experience with an oxford is that the right is OK (could be a bit more snug), but I use a tongue pad on the left; with a derby, the instep for both is fine and I just tighten the left a bit more.
