Joint cracking

How do you feel about this? I found Jointcrackers, a forum dedicated to the subject. I am particularly intrigued by the posts discussing the psychological aspects of joint cracking.

I'm a 'cracker,' from way back. Both thumbs. One of my big toes. My neck. My spine. It does get addicting. My doctor told me to eat olive oil. This is supposed to lubricate the joints, to minimize cracks.

My joints pop even when I don't specifically pop them. Relives the pressure that's seemingly built up in them nicely, especially in my neck which will occasionally lock up when I get out of bed.

I crack my fingers and toes. I have to crack my fingers or I find them difficult to move.

My ankles crack all the time. With pretty much every step up the stairs and a lot when i walk. I have bad knees/ankles from sports when i was a kid, plus that lame growth plate knee thing with the weird name. Don't know why the ankles crack so much. My girlfriend finds it hilarious and gross at the same time.

My knees are shot from overuse playing sports. Whenever I crouch/squat, they pop loudly. My shoulders/elbows crack a lot when I rotate them. I'm the oldest 26 year old I know. I've never seen the appeal behind knuckle cracking, and find it extremely annoying.
