What trousers/jeans could I wear with these shoes?

What dreadful looking shoes, why did you waste your money and then boast of buying them?

I would return them and buy some shoes that match the rest of your wardrobe as is more nomal - it could be expensive to try to get enough clothes to justify owning these wretched things.

I only just came across this site and got an email saying welcome to the friendly community. Great start.

I certainly don't brag about stuff like this. What a bizarre thing to do. Who brags about clothes? You have a strange mind and a hostile manner.

I simply would like some advice on some jeans or trousers to go with them. Help me out in kindness or just move on.

while GBR is harsh, he's also right. These boot shoe things are dreadful.

I guess you could wear them with some boot cut lighter wash jeans and go for the surfer look if that interests you, but its certainly not a popular look here.

Try street wear and denim, they may be more helpful.

Welcome to SF!
Not many on this side of SF will fancy those shoes. Those shoes look like something you'd wear with dark skinny jeans but I may be wrong. You might find the regulars over at the Streetwear and Denim sub-forum more helpful.

I'm running out of creative ways to tell people to burn the various ugly items that keep getting posted recently.

I wouldn't go near skinny jeans for endless amounts of reasons. Definitely not me.

Actually I did think of regular style jeans. Maybe even blacker ones than the dark blue ones I have. Like these.

Thanks anyway guys. Can I politely ask what the average age group tends to be on here? haha, I don't mean you seem old, but you seem more white collar and professional in your tastes. Which is great, but clearly not what these shoes are designed for. They're just casual comfortable shoes.

I'm 28, and yes, most people on the Mens clothing forum are white collar professionals discussing tailored clothing. Some of these people put on suits for the sole purpose of going food shopping.

once again, streetwear and denim may be more your style.

As someone who has recently joined these forums, my impression is that most guys on this side of the forum are, as you say, white collar professionals. Heaps of lawyers and bankers here (or those, like me, in the mid-early-twenties, aspiring to start careers in these professions).
These are shoes that very few of us, if any, would wear for comfort or in casual situations and nothing will change this fact. It's pretty much set in stone.
SW&D is what you're looking for.

Ah, I see what you meant when you said Streetwear and Denim the first time, now. Sorry, I'm a newb. I wasn't aware of that forum.

Thanks!

Without wanting to sound cranky, when I began on this site I spent a lot of time just reading, searching and looking at people's pictures. I learned a huge amount both about fundamentals and about prevailing attitudes on here (a lot of which are held for good reasons).

Doing it the way I did is a great way to avoid getting ridiculed :/

Giving yourself sometime to properly acclimate to the attitudes and beleifes of the men this side of SF takes some time. Viewing through a number of older posts would definitely give you an idea of what would be "appropriate" on this side. While there was no need to be so harsh, many of these men view themselves in an interesting light for their "knowledge". I wouldn't take it to hard, just give yourself some time.

Cheers
