A tank top is an undershirt and I can afford to actually dress myself. I would no sooner wear one on its own in public than I'd step out with briefs and no pants.

I've found that on occasion this can lead to good times.

I wear 'em like Tony Soprano does.....when banging.

(DISCLAIMER: At around 8% BF, I'd like to believe I look marginally better than him)

(For me, it's just around the corner. High 70's today in central Florida . . .)

I rarely wear tanks in public, despite being in shape, unless I'm at the gym. I might start doing it, though; I have to suffer through a six-month summer every year. Though ironically, the very benefit of tanks in summertime -- less fabric -- becomes detrimental when there's nothing to catch the sweat rolling down your sides.

Oh, true. In that case, I see no reason why the dearth of pictures should not be immediately rectified.

I am and have been posting pictures. If you're not finding them, you probably should look harder bitches.

That said, having no sleeves makes a massive difference to keeping cool in summer. Less restricting, especially as i can wear spagetti-strings/halters/strapless tops. I guess guys miss out.

I'd kill to be able to wear skirts and short sleeves to work in the summer. But i don't see how tank tops help you stay cool. A light colour linen short sleeve shirt works better, unless you're alwasy in the shade.

I don't care to see man hairy armpit, so I try to extend the same courtesy and don't wear tank tops. Besides to me you look slightly silly unless your arms are evenly tanned and ripped.

Again, tank tops look best with **** in them.

Why don't you just trim your armpit hair?

Looked harder, found them. Thanks for the infusion of estrogen into the WAYWN sausage fest.

+1, no man-pits please. If you're doing serious physical labor or sports or something, okay, but in most cases an Under Armour (type) t-shirt will work as well or better for keeping cool anyway, IME.

HA! I pretty much wear them all the time in the summer, and so do a LOT of New Yorkers (and not just the gays). If not tank tops, then a sleeveless shirt of some sort, it gets super hot/humid here. Yes, I'll be tanned and very-much ripped w/ trimmed arm pit hair, thank you! Interestingly enough, I never wear shorts unless at the beach (damn these bony ankles).
