Opinions on these shoes to wear with suit? (pic)

Would it be ok to wear these boots with a dark grey suit for interviews and more formal occasions? Or does it look too casual and/or "bad"?

those are just bad period, regardless of outfit or occasion. If you are looking for an "all-around" shoe, look for a regular shoe (non boot) in a dark brown or black. Give us your budget and people will give you suggestions.

My budget is around $200.

Non-boot for an "all-round" shoe, i.e. a shoe you can wear both in a formal setting and in less formal settings. These boots (and boots in general) are not a good choice for formal wear. Neither are these boots good for casual settings because they don't look good (but if you like them, wear them.. just don't use them for formal occasions).
For 200$, have a look at www.meermin.es or AE on sale.

Do you want dark brown or black shoes? Black is more formal, but brown is the better all-round choice, imo.

Because you mentioned wearing them with a suit for interviews. Boots can be worn with a suit, but they would have to be a more formal balmoral boot or chelsea, and I would still not wear boots to an interview. And the boots you posted, should just not be worn at all. The lacing is like a chukka, which is a very casual style of boot, yet the toe shape and colour is more formal. If you're gonna wear a chukka, get one in brown suede or some other casual/textured leather, and if you want a formal black boot get something more like a chelsea or balmoral boot.

NO, not at all !

Go for some cap toes for suits you'll look more polished.

Allen Edmonds Park Avenues in black go on sale at Nortstrom for their Anniversary sale (starts in 2 weeks I believe). These are a little boring, but will be perfect for interviews and "formal" business occassions, if you ever have those.
