My cufflink collection, in photos . . .

In my posting on WAYWRN, there have been those who have admired my cufflinks. Because of an enquiry at That Other Website, I had occasion to photograph my current collection (a day off, hot weather, a few idle moments in an air-conditioned atmosphere - you get the picture).

Without further ado, the collection - an admittedly rushed set of photos, but there it is. More under the spoiler . . .

With this collection, it is very hard to pick a favorite or favorites, and would be even harder to tell you all where they are in the photos. I buy cufflinks often when I'm traveling, so I associate them with the pleasures of visiting different locations - they all have a story. However, a couple of standouts are the white and yellow-green silver enameled fish-scale patterned cufflinks, from my last trip to London, and the turned silver bars, capped with sapphire cabochons (they're double-sided, and have a very solid mechanism that folds them so that they can be put on more easily). The gold and lapis lazuli pairs, in their own separate boxes, since they are the most valuable pairs I own, also favorites, as are my own lowly pair of silver and enamel cufflinks from Longmire (lowly only in terms of price - in Longmire's universe, at least smile.gif ).

Excellent collection! Made even more special by the associated stories for each.

Wear them in good health.
