They'll expand Golden Fleece logoed stuff, and introduce a new line of Big Fleece logo "polo" shirts, with oversized embroidered Golden Fleece logos.
Del Vecchio pledges a "huge presence at Pitti Uomo" next year, issuing cell phones to all BB reps and with swag bags even now being assembled in Malaysia full of Brooks Brother breath mints, Golden Fleece cigarettes, and co-branded Wurkin Stiffs collar stays.
A special diffusion line, "Brooks Brothers Straight To Gilt Groupe," is also in the works, featuring comfortable yet vibrant t-shirts, shorts, Brocs (a rubber clog), and wrist BBeads made from melted non-iron shirts.

You win the internet.

Slightly different cut, traditional slightly baggier, by approx 1" in the body. With the exception of some super fatties who will succumb to heart disease anyways, given how generous of a cut regular is anyways most people don't know the diff between trad and regular.

I looked at my current BB dress shirts and found it about evenly divided between "Traditional" and "Regular." I've always shunned the "slim" shirts, as I said.

SpooPoker - the problem with your post is some here might actually take it seriously. Yesterday in our downtown BB I mentioned the "rumor" to several. One associate said he was not aware of any discontinuations of a major line and should know about it first. Store manager more non-committal but really didn't seem to be aware of it. Acknowledged, of course, that they've gotten far more slim-fit shirts and the more extreme version, and their current shirts on sale are almost all of these types.

Often the sales force is the last to know about a development. Sometimes they hear snatches of gossip which can often be incorrect. Therefore, take the gossip with a helping of salt.

My sales girl told me that the cordovan shoes will be discontinued. She is puzzled because cordovan is the store's best seller.

I thought that they have already started doing something like this when they launched the "college edition" to compete with the likes such as Abercrombie and Fitch....
