Every time a Stanley Cup wraps up, I find myself still wishing Anaheim beat New Jersey during Giguere's crazy playoff run.

Hahahaha, shit. Poor Bryz... I used to hate on the guy but he is such an affable loon, I can't dislike him. He'll get snapped up quite quickly... Maybe Feaster will sign him to a stupid contract.

dat feel when...

...you're one of only five in history to win the Conn Smythe as a member of the losing team. Talk about soul-crushing disappointment, I can't even look at his face for more than a few seconds before I get those horrible stood-on-my-head-but-we-lost-anyways goalie feels. frown.gif

Bergeron played witha punctured lung and broken ribs...holy shit. Between him and Campbell, I'm so proud to be a hockey player right now.

it's basically a LOL @ NBA type of thing right now.

I blacked out and threw up during hockey last night (dehydration), shook it off and finished the game. Played like a savage too. Does that count laugh.gif

Careful with that summer time hockey. Drink plenty of fluids. Please, stay safe Jarude.

I lifted in my non-AC garage, then was out in the pool for 10 hours on a really hot day and didn't drink enough. I made it 40 minutes in and then semi-collapsed which was the only reason they scored and broke the goose egg. Was still beasting the rest of the night; I was in some crazy half delusional intense focus zone with bullet time puck vision. Felt amazing. There are no tears sweeter than frustrated forward tears.

Will stay safe foo.gif

Cory Schneider has been dealt to the NJ Devils. Damn I did not see that one coming.

laugh.gif I was shopping at Hockey Life and I heard that over the store PA. Everyone rushed to the TV in shock. I saw Horvat this year on my hometown Knights and I think its a fair swap.

Lou is the best GM in the league

I'm pretty happy with Calgary's picks. Monahan is a no-brainer, but I was a little concerned with Poirier getting picked at 22 (slated to go ~45) when Shinkaruk was still around. I'm happy with Klimchuk though, and they managed to nab some dude named Eric Roy in the 5th round who was originally slated ~25th overall earlier this year. Seems like a steal for now, but my cynicism tells me there's a reason he fell so hard. They also shit away a 3rd rounder on some 6'7 240lb kid who racked up 7 points and 160 PIMS last junior season... maybe he can play 7th d-man and knock dudes out.

So that's Poirier from STL for JayBo, and Klimchuk from PIT for Iginla. I really hope these dudes pan out.

Check out Poirier, this kid has some fucking wheels...

Holmgren, the worst. What the hell was that 3rd pick? The Flyers couldn't help but to get another fighter.baldy[1].gif

So NJD pick brodeur's kid as the final pick. Wonder if the kid will make anything of himself or only there as a favor to pops on his way out.

Wow, what a trade today. I think its pretty even, shocking as it is. I thought Chiarelli calling out Seguin was a move typical for a young star with his head in the clouds, but to be traded outright? Damn, looks like the Bruins got some cap space for Rask now.
