Was in 2nd row directly behind the net tonight for Caps/Habs. As a goalie it was great to watch the goalies (Price twice), but god damn is it disheartening to be a Caps fan right now. frown.gif

Looked like Lindros, Messier and Fleury instead of Gabby, Richards and Nash...terrible. The team lacks chemistry and I'm going to hold on the theory that the role guys they gave up in order to get and afford Nash will be the downfall of this team. Doesn't help to open the season with Bos 2, Pitt2 and Phi 2. I will be at the Leafs game Saturday night from my dad's new seats...curious to see where they moved him.

Its been FOUR games. Four. On top of a one-week training camp, Nash being injured while playing overseas and none of your important players putting time in during the lockout. Shipping off guys who already had chemistry and slotting in a top-liner who needs time to fit in is going to result in some bumps along the way. If they keep this up for another couple weeks, then you can be concerned.
