2. Nash never won a playoff game in 10 years in Columbus. Maybe he's one of those guys...Richards was doing stupid shit like behind the back passses seemingly just to show Nash he can (he can't). Think he's a team cancer?
It's been two games, and Nash not winning a playoff game in 10 years in Columbus is a function of him being in Columbus for 10 years. They have always been terrible and made the playoffs once as an 8th seed and got swept by the Wings who crushed everyone on their way to the SCF; not sure how that would reflect poorly on Nash. Add this to him barely playing any time overseas on account of injury, a one week training camp and needing to build chemistry from zero and there it is.
Only Duby and Arty were part of the Nash deal so I don't think you can compare the loss of those 2 plus the other two who walked as UFA's. Erixon is a whiny entitled bitch-child who deserves to rot in Columbus hell, but a first round pick is a first round pick. Rangers are in an excellent spot even with those subtractions; you have enough grind with Asham, Callahan and Rupp.
In other news, I'm glad the Flames are at least consistent. What a turd that was. Also very happy for Josh Harding - puts up a shutout after he gets diagnosed with MS. Good for him.
