Make up your mind!

Word on the street is Gomez signed in SJ.

I was watching the Leafs-Habs game in downtown Montreal, and I think I was the Leafs fan in attendance. I made a quiet exit post-game.

I was pretty surprised at how terrible Montreal was last night. I think they will have an atrocious season; I don't see anything on their roster that would make me expect greatness.

Is PK still unsigned? Who else is on that list league wide? Whats the deal with Holmstrom?

i hope that I just saw the Rangers' worst period of the season.

ok, the Rangers have been mostly awful this game, but Nash is a beast. Hugely impressed.

They sucked in Boston, they sucked last night. And yes, Nash is freaking great, but I'm starting to wonder a few things:

1. Dubinsky, Arty, Fedetenko and Prust brought more to the team last year than the box scores can show.

2. Nash never won a playoff game in 10 years in Columbus. Maybe he's one of those guys...Richards was doing stupid shit like behind the back passses seemingly just to show Nash he can (he can't). Think he's a team cancer?

It's been two games, and Nash not winning a playoff game in 10 years in Columbus is a function of him being in Columbus for 10 years. They have always been terrible and made the playoffs once as an 8th seed and got swept by the Wings who crushed everyone on their way to the SCF; not sure how that would reflect poorly on Nash. Add this to him barely playing any time overseas on account of injury, a one week training camp and needing to build chemistry from zero and there it is.

Only Duby and Arty were part of the Nash deal so I don't think you can compare the loss of those 2 plus the other two who walked as UFA's. Erixon is a whiny entitled bitch-child who deserves to rot in Columbus hell, but a first round pick is a first round pick. Rangers are in an excellent spot even with those subtractions; you have enough grind with Asham, Callahan and Rupp.

In other news, I'm glad the Flames are at least consistent. What a turd that was. Also very happy for Josh Harding - puts up a shutout after he gets diagnosed with MS. Good for him.

i do not think that Richards (nor Nash) is any sort of team cancer. But WTF was Richards doing last night?? That behind the back shit was awful, and he did it twice with both instances resulted in turnovers.

the biggest difference was how ready the Pens seemed last night. All 4 lines were there, and they seemed hungry.

I forgot Vokoun signed with the Pens. I don't have much faith in Fleury but that is a pretty nasty duo in net... Vokoun is easily the best backup in the league.
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
besides Luongo lol
