in D1 college hockey, it's not unusual to see 1-3 players in the 5'7" to 5'8" category, and a fair number seems to be 160+ lbs. But to be that size and the scoring leader on the #1 or #2 ranked team in the NCAA's does strike me as unusual.

Congrats USA, well earned. For all the hype that permanently followed Campbell, I think Gibson is much more deserving of the elite goaltender designation.

Good news is hockey is coming back. Better news Islander tickets which have been cheap before, should now be even CHEAPER!

Bad news, my wife, a hockey fan who didn't grow up with the sport like I did, is totally disillusioned about the NHL coming back. She really doesn't care. I think a lot of Americans will feel the same way.

I'm going to actively not give a fuck about the NHL for a good while. I love hockey but this has really left a bad taste in my mouth... I'm wondering if the league is going to do anything for "the fans." Reparations sound ridiculous, I know, but we are the largest stakeholder group, albeit the one who wasn't the most affected. Even so... free Center Ice for the rest of the season would hold my interest.

54 isn't terrible. It's wider than a 48, and I am a size 48, but I'd take the gamble on the 54 since they're team issued Edge 2.0's (ie - the ones the players actually wear and are not sold at retail).
