ha, those seats ARE the top of center ice.

also, don't forget your Moulstache t-shirt (actually, the t-shirt was a last year charity thing from Moulson).

Oh yeah, my dad shared upper level season tickets for Seton Hall back in the 80s/90s. It was a hike getting up to those seats. The Devils season tickets we shared were lower bowl, corner, luckily. But eventually we got priced out, and as I got older we couldn't get to as many games anyway.

Geez!! Do tickets come with optional accident insurance??

That somewhat like our Pacific Coliseum (old Canucks venue, now the junior hockey Giants). Rogers Arena is much "safer" in that regard.

ha, i doubt it. So the slope is one thing, but it's made worse by how little leg room there is, which you can kind of see in the picture. Trip on a bag of peanuts or lose balance while trying to pass a fattie, and you're in for a LOT of pain.

ok, for those missing hockey action on TV, there is some good news. Tonight, college hockey, Harvard at Cornell on NBC sports called by Doc Emrick and Pierre McGuire. When I was a student, these games were always nuts, and this one should be a blast to watch.

article from Sports Illustrated:

a few highlights from a game in 2006. I was there, and yes it was as crazy as it looks

i have been enjoying my hometown ohl team quite a bit, and i finally got back on the ice. i have an atrocious timeslot - 10:45pm-12am thursday nights - but it feels great to be playing again. nothing serious, just some dudes playing pick-up. that feeling of making a big save never goes away smile.gif. my equipment sorely needs an update.. i'm still using a cujo bauer stick from when he was with detroit - 8 years old now!

No sleep till........2015.

Wonder what teh chances of a season are at this point. Both sides are saying they're closer than the media lets on. Also think its interesting how the US media is siding with players (or at least fans are) yet Canadian folks all seem to be pro-owner. Am i reading it wrong or is that the case?

nice. It looks good on you.

(also, you better watch Michigan vs. Cornell college hockey played at MSG and on MSG this Saturday. Moulson's alma mater!)

no season this year.

from everyone i talk to here, people are categorized like so:

people who don't follow whats going on and only catch whats happening on the news, casual observers = anti-owner
people who have read into whats going on and are actively following it = 75% anti-player
people who check up on it daily such as myself = dont give a fuck anymore, both sides are assholes

From what I've seen, it will look pretty nice, though my dad's seats will be moved (I guess his former seats as he'll be going in with me on the Isles tickets.

Speaking of Isles, I'm hearing rumors that the group in Brooklyn is working to buy them out of their NC lease and get them here even earlier...that'd be sweet!

Josh Harding has MS. frown.gif

I always thought he was pretty underrated and fought through a lot of adversity with all the injuries he faced. This is just shitty.
