Well, I had a hard time following this entire overproduced middle-school musical, the basic point of which seems to be that the U.K. isn't racist and has familiarity with digital technology.

High school musical? What? Overproduced? I'm sorry my tipsy mind can't comprehend theatre terminology its just alien to me.

Proving Britain isn't racist is something a lot of people like to do, TBH I thought it was OK on that front but then I thought it would have fuck all to do with Britain and I really couldn't care less if people think I am or not, those who do tend to be too dumb to understand what I'm saying. I didn't get why they had the phones in, every country uses them. Maybe if it was in Helsinki it would make sense.

Why's Bond in black tie during daylight? Why wouldn't he be in his naval uniform?

The ceremony is terrible.

It's like a high school play with too much money supporting it.

LOL I had a nice recurve bow back in the day, and by 'back in the day" I mean high school. It was awesome.

BTW I'm liking the ceremony but I'm a pleb anglophile so what do I know. PArt of this, though, is that I've got the son up and watching as well.

It's pretty sorry that NBC decided to cut this part of the ceremony in favor of an insipid Michael Phelps interview:
