same with Chrisdien Deny http://www.chrisdiendeny.com/

they are not even trying to come up with a different but similar font, no they simply use the same nicolas cochin typeface as Dior.

This is a couple of menswear brands I find interesting for been very similar.

New York.

Hong Kong.

And of course Ralph Lauren.

I presume this is all OK, because the word "polo" is a common noun and can't really be trademarked, and their polo player logos are sufficiently different as not to infringe each other's registered trademarks and/or copyright.

EDIT:

Here's a couple more HK menswear brands..

472

No chance of confusing these brands is there?

Yeh, I believe they license their brand.
http://www.bhpc.com/licensees/

BTW have a BHPC store here in Xilinhot, I think it might be legit as well. It's quite expensive. It's actually under our school science block, doesn't seem to get much trade though, I go past it several times a day, never see any customers in the place.

Now another menswear tenant of the same rank of shops as the BHPC is not quite so on the level.

Now I wonder which famous German car-maker this is based on?

The billboard above is for one of our local fake Apple Stores.

I saw a knock-off Versace T-shirt this morning, spelt as "VIRSECH". It was only because it had a large medusa head logo on it, that I knew what it was pretending to be.
I think knock-off Burberry are some of the ugliest garments that I see regularly though.
