Interview Shoes

I have a small collection of shoes in comparison to those on this site of some good shoes. I have some AE PA's in shell cordovan that I had actually ordered before I found out about the interview today that I am now planning on wearing to an interview this Friday. Is it appropriate to wear shell or use calf and give them a nice shine? Or is this even relevant?

Thanks!

Doesn't it depend quite a bit on your field of work? I've interviewed capable candidates wearing suits with Skechers boots...cringe...the things that some don't know...
