Brown the standard color to wear for casual with jeans?

So going through my wardrobe I noticed I dont have any black boots per say, but brown. I figured its because I wear jeans with my brown boots (wolverine 1000 mile boot). Did a google search and noticed only 3 pics showed men with black boots and jeans and all brown with blue jeans. I googled 'wolverine 1000 black' if curious. This made me think is black boots not worn for casual wear with blue jeans?

Plenty of people wear black boots casually, I only wear black boots, i dont own any brown ones. I think it just depends on what you like. I think black boots/shoes are more popular here on the sw&d side of the forum, but if you look in MC, its quite rare, they much prefer brown.

With really dark denim, I think black looks best, but brown looks nice with lighter blue jeans.
