Pulling this one from the grave ..
I am more than happy that I will finally receive my JL Lopez in black misty calf.
Now, I was lurking the forum for quite some time, and found out that I should buy Saphir products rather than JL's. Which I will.
But now the question is, should I buy the neutral creme combined with neutral wax, or to use the black saphir creme with neutral wax, or to use black saphir creme with black wax?
Also, I dont get it where the Saphir Renovateur fits in? I will take best possible care of this Lopez shoes, and not planing on wearing them ever when there is rain or harsh weather outside, so should I use renovateur at all? Or can I just take care of them with creme and wax? What is renovateur really for?
I know the misty calf has much less hues in the leather, and less cloudy finish than museum calf, but as far as i know, there is still some sort of cloudiness in the finish which I don't want to kill with black creme. But I also heard about crease problem when using neutral creme, so I am going crazy here. Really want to give them the best treatment possible from the day 1.
