Hey all. I've been trying for a few months to get my hair to where it looks good and I finally have it to a length that works (just need a little more length). But I'd like it to be more glossy, less frizzy, and hold it's shape better. So I'm looking for something (a conditioner maybe?) that I can use to help with this. I've been going the all natural route for 8+ months now because of very sensitive skin, using only water and occasionally a baking soda mix to wash my hair. But like I said, I'd like a little more sheen and what not without my hair looking/feeling greasy.

Here is how my hair currently looks:

I'm not sure if you can tell from this picture, but although my hair looks somewhat healthy, it's also pretty dull looking. (I'll post another pic tomorrow during the day when I have better lighting)

What I would like is for it to be more shiny/healthy looking, like so:

Can anybody please advise me about what I can use in my hair that isn't irritating to the skin? Products (shampoos, etc) with Sodium Laureth/Lauryl Sulfate tend to be particularly aggravating and are the reason I stopped using shampoo/conditioner in the first place, so I'd like to avoid those two ingredients particularly.

I've tried using pomade and other wax to get my hair to hold better in the past. And though the wax seems to work, it ends up weighing my hair down after a few hours and doesn't look/feel so great. So I'm hoping using conditioner here could be the solution.

Any recommendations?
