Luxire Custom Clothing - Official Affiliate Thread - Page 631

Crosspost from WAYWRN. I've had the suit altered by a tailor locally. He has shortened the sleeves, removed excess fabric on the chest and back and fiddled with the shoulders. Furthermore, Theresa and I have come to an arrangement respective a few measurements that were off.

I am now looking forward to my next orders.

Haha, of course you saw this. I bet you sniffed it out, even before the picture was posted.

I have a feeling it's been made for a Customer and that was a photo taken at Luxire.

Hello all - a lurker of many moons here. I have had a few bits made up by Luxire (all very well) over the last few months, and am planning on getting some summer workhorse trousers before it heats up. Morover, I am going to be in Boston and New York for the summer, so I suspect that my current English summer staples will wear too hot.

With that in mind, I am torn between two cloths:

http://luxire.com/collections/pants/products/dugdale-light-grey-plain-8960

http://custom.luxire.com/products/dugdale-town-classic-light-grey-hopsack-14-oz

I suspect that the hopsack might have a little more texture, but 14oz seems a little heavy for summer, even as an open weave.

Any suggestions from you gentlemen greatly appreciated.

I was in the same position (look at the previous page).
I went with the plain, because it's lighter and summer is coming up. 14oz seemed to be quite heavy for late spring/summer wear. I will definitely revisit the hopsack once we approach September/October.

yeah maybe, but the sleeves look pretty spot on and the length is about 4-5 inches on what a bomber should be. If so customer must have some very strange proportions

Those sleeves look quite long to me, check out the stacking on the left arm.

To anybody who's ordered swim trunks, how did you adjust your measurements compared to regular pants (inseam of course, but what else).

I'm also wondering, since I'm waiting for a pair myself and would like to see a pic of how the fabric looks when worn.
