Yeah, for sure. I do kinda like it. Probably my biggest concern is if I have to have the pants hemmed. Once I have it dialed in, I'd be more amenable to it I think.

I think that's what I'm going for. I didn't ask for them and didn't even know the first pair had them. They're pretty badass though, a great idea. Since I didn't ask, I'm guessing it's Luxires standard. Kind of a cool signature.

I think the brown linen pants look great, even more so considering what your first pair looked like.

A question though - after you did that fantastic job pinning stuff up, how were you able to modify measurements to send for Luxire to create the second pair? Did you just remeasure the rise, etc.? I think we'd all be a bit better off if you could share some more details about how you went about this part of it.

Edit: I'm just wondering if all you had to do was reduce the back rise.

It was anything but that easy. I pinned 4cm off of the rear. What I mean is, the waistband moved down 4cm. This is due to my genetic issue with no rear end. I also have pelvic tilt. So, I had Therese offer what to add to the rise.

By taking some off the rear waistband and adding to the rise, I shifted the rear panel up just a tad, getting rid of the excess fabric. I had the hips pinned as well but canceled that. Good thing. These fit like a glove.

So I didn't remeasure, it's ALWAYS best to work off of an existing pattern and add/remove inches. I think Therese/Luxire can agree with me. That's why you get trial suits at Tiberias and KW.

X-Post from WAYWRN. Same shirt as before but now it fits. Break for AAS. You can see, yes, it's about 1" long. Maybe 1.25". Cheapo belt. Don't judge me. Luxire took all my money.

Gauntlets? Ain't nobody got time fo' dat.

New acquisitions. The belt is a cheapo. Working on getting new ones.

My light grey Minnis Fresco trousers arrived today. First impression is very positive. I anticipate that I will make some very minor fit alterations and then will be placing an order for some medium grey flannels and a couple more casual winter trousers.

Really wanted to like the Luxire chambray shirts I ordered

Unfortunately, the measurements came out messed up in the finished shirts. They are unwearable

Ordered a true neck size of 16.5 inches, but my shirts came in at 17.25 inches
The sleeve width, rounded armhole, and yoke measurements were also an inch too big

I'm using the same measurement technique as the site

Pics! I requested some Minnis swatches with my last order and Theresa said there's a chance they may have some available.

That's a bummer, but at least Luxire should remake them for you.

For some reason, my stuff doesn't always measure right either. If you do another order, use the template you have to adjust. -.75" on the neck, -1" armhole, -1" width, etc.

Maybe they will remake? Send them pictures of your request and the measurements you're obtaining.

PS GAHDAMN these pants are awesome. Need.. more.. Linen..

Will try to post some later. Ran home during lunch to get the package and try on / hang up so didn't have time for proper photograph taking.

If anybody wants some honest-to-god art in their pocket and was waiting for the right opportunity to get some custom printed squares, Hermes just commissioned some Moebius pieces that would look killer. The images are available online in hi-res

Those are gorgeous but I refuse to blatantly get someone else's artwork and send it to Luxire. Shirts are one thing. Full on PS art is another. I would think that could even be a lawsuit.
