Yup, but I'm one of those people who only washes my jeans every few months.

Fair enough. I own two pairs of the selvedge denim by Luxire. They've stretched a bit, but not by much imo. I would guess that they've stretched some in the waistband, but it's hard to estimate a measurement.

Ah ok, thanks.

Thanks for sharing!

The reason I ask for the lining is also because on recent orders for the NOBD collars I didn't specify them to be unfused, since NOBD on numerous occasions mentioned that his collars are unfused. However, the shirts I received with the NOBD collar were all fused for some reason. Hence, why it would probably make sense to specify what lining to use :)

Which non-linen fabric would you reccomend as a summer fabric (casual), thinking madras but was wondering if any of you guys and/or Luxire had any suggestions?

It is really nice, here is a quick shot of the BD-collar Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Nice! Do you mind posting a fit pic too? Its kinda hard telling how the collar is, when the shirt is folded like this....

Did you use regular buttons and did you specify "rounded collar band ends"?

For those familiar with Alumo, something similar in feel & breathability to their Supraluxe range.

I quite like the look of this: http://custom.luxire.com/collections/dress-shirts/products/fine-white-twill-2-140 but would be interested in something with less sheen than a twill, maybe a good broadcloth for example.

(No Oxfords, Royal Oxfords, Dobby, herringbone, panama, silk, lustrous, off-white, cream/ivory, etc, etc, options please; not what I'm after this time).

EDIT - which Alumo is this one, Luxire? http://custom.luxire.com/collections/whites/products/alumo-white-polin-2-120

I've had the same question recently. There are several people recently who used the lustrous fine white and seem to be enjoying it. And I share your concern about the twills being too shiny - I generally like twill, but the twill I am used to doesn't have the problem that my Luxire twills seem to.

That being said, I am going to try some of the poplin options first and work my way around. I don't need many white shirts, but a few are worthwhile.

Looking at this one in particular: http://luxire.com/collections/whites/products/monti-white-poplin-2-120

Thanks! I only have two or three white shirts myself but a couple are getting close to needing replacement. I might try one of the Monti you picked, and one of the Alumo I found on their site.

We need sky blue and white striped seersucker for summer. Pure cotton, of course.

Here is a pic of the new BD in action. I also love my new Forest Green Grenadine by Exquisite Trimmings!

Had saved this seersucker for March as the quantity is small and may not make it to spring.

It is a very nice fabric. Will make a good casual shirt but will not look out of place at work as well.

Luxire, how thick are those premium MOP?

Timotune, that collar is great. Did you list the order number and specs for it already?

Apart from the thin MOP, all other MOP buttons are 4mm thick.
