Sry for asking if it already has been answered, didn't find it yet, but was is this:

http://luxire.com/collections/dress-shirts/products/hand-finish-on-shirt

Is it like really $100 more for hand finishing? I know it's a lot of work, seriously, have already talked with other producers and stuff, but I am just surprised by the 'wage' difference in simple and hand finished shirts, especially considering the price differences in between Italian shirtmakers that differentiate through those handfinishing stuff....

No offence, just aksing. Has anyone made experiences with this?

I read your post a couple times and still don't know what it is you're asking.

He literally asked if it really costs $100 extra for hand-finishing to a shirt, and the answer is clearly "Yes" by the link he posted. I think what he's questioning is why it is $100 more and (presumably) not less, and it sounds like he's citing price differences from other makers, though this is very vague. I assume he's asking if others are familiar with price differences from other makers and how they compare to Luxire's. I doubt he's looking for an answer from Luxire here, but I could be wrong.

Ok, i'll try to make it easier, comprehensible for everybody :P

1. Is it $100 for the hand finishing?

2. Has anyone tried yet and does this one think it is wort it?

3. Has anyone an idea why it is $100 more, when it is produced in India, while prices of similar Italian shirtmakers that differentiate through the intensiveness of hand finishing do not vary $100?

Clear enough?

I'm a happy Luxire Customer and don't necessarily need ultimate hand finishing, but I just do not yet get how this point works and why it is relatively expensive.

Thanks!

Thank you. I was looking for a striped white/blue shirt, and there's like ten to choose from, hard to distinguish

The price is what the seller says it is. If you think it's too high, don't buy the option.

I don't take facts, I create facts. That's why i discuss them. Especially in a forum. I don't buy in a forum, I discuss them in a forum, for which it is there for. If you don't like my questions, you don't need to answer them. Additionally they go far beyond "i don't like the price". I'm a happy customer and want to get to know if somebody used the package, what quality it provides and if there is a misunderstanding on my side.

I, also a happy customer, think it's an interesting question, zeBanker. I would like to know myself what exactly is hand-finished for the extra hundred.

IMO, if you start to evaluate prices on these basis, you'll want to question everything you buy.
OTOH, if I'm paying the same price for an equivalent product, I'd rather my money go to India (where it goes a longer way) than to Italy.
