Finally decided to place an order. Wanted an OCBD with a roll similar to the ones I"ve seen on Kamakura shirts (since they don't carry my size). Hopefully I got my measurements right, my last MTM shirt was all over the place

How long is the wait typically from when you order until you receive it?

Speaking of using body measurements, I did a combination of the two. For the body I added 5, 6, and 5 to my chest, waist, and hips to the chest, waist, and bottom of the shirt, and I am really happy with the result. For the rest I used an existing shirt, and pretty much got it right, but it's a little tight in the shoulders if I fold my arms (any suggestions anyone?). I think the yoke may need an increase.

The quality of Luxire's fabric is quite high. Those labels have huge markups.

Additionaly, I believe they have said they are able to make shirts from many of the major mills if you specify fabric.

Ouch.

Did they mention they can get something done with a fabric I request even if it's not on the site?

Trying to join the bandwagon after 300+ pages is a lot of catchup on information to do!

Regarding Dugdale, I have several suits from Charles Tyrwhitt and I'm convinced that it's Dugdale material they use...some of the patterns are identical what's in my closet.  It's  very good stuff based on my experience...not cheap at all...just that the CT suits are not bespoke and don't fit nearly as well as a pair of Luxire made trousers.

I searched Dugdale on the site and there 300+ hits! Not too bad for Minnis either. I guess I have a lot more exploring to do...

Thanks for the headsup.

Now to get home and measure more clothes after I'm done with the day...

Yeah, I think that is a good method, but I was wondering one thing, what do you think of the rise? They are quite high-rise, especially for being jeans, but is that a negative thing?

Luxire,

Is that going to be structured? Full or half canvassed? Is it 8593 Dugdale fine worsted Navy Plain?

Scherzkekse!

Am I not supposed to have received my trousers in order for me to review them or why are you already sending me an email asking me to rate my not yet fulfilled purchase?

Why are you teasing me like this Luxire!

They addressed this a couple a couple days ago.  It is a third party service that sends out the review emails.

Yeah, last i asked for swatches of the trousers/dugdale they refused to do so as a matter of policy.

There should be a few Dugdale fabrics with my swatches, hopefully they are included. They said they would refund me if any if the swatches weren't available, and I haven't gotten any refund yet. I'll upload them when I get them.
