I got it wrong. Stumped by the beauty of the new dummy, I guess :)

Which collar-style would you recommend for a casual linen or linen-cotton shirt? Button-down, does it work from the looks? I like a good collar stand without a tie, but also a soft collar.

Hidden button down with a italian spread and soft lining/no fusing in the collar and hard linging/no fusing in the collar band (below)?

One-piece collar with soft lining (below)?

Return of the one-piece collar. This shirt also made me a fan of unlined collars.

NOBD collar with soft lining?

Satriano-Cinque-style collar band with soft lining like shown at Permanent Style:

If we were to order a shirt, would saying NOBD collar be enough or is it better to put a pic?

My next luxire shirt will combine elements of most of the collars you highlighted. It will be one piece, with a wide spread and hidden buttons with soft lining and no fusing, just like the Ring Jacket shirt and Finamore below:

Sounds promising, albeit I would go for a moderate spread, since in my case extreme cutaways doesn't look good without a tie. Great samples!

When measuring the sleevelength. Do you measure from the middle of the yoke to the end of the sleeve, including the cuff.
Or do you measure from the middle yoke to the begin of the cuff?

I also asked for the hidden button gauntlet right after Luxire posted a picture of it, but got exactly what you did. I was a little disappointed and decided to just forego it on the order I placed a week ago.

Thank you very much! Are there any other things I have to keep in mind while ordering?

Not really, just make sure you know exactly what you are looking for and you express that clearly to Luxire. They really are more like a full bespoke online shirt maker rather than MTM, because every aspect can be customized and they create a new pattern for each customer. This means that if you want something, ask for it and they will do it.

I would guess this might be caused by Theresa posting pictures at the tumblr/forum and calling features a certain way, while different people/the tailors read through the orders and make out of it what they think is right?

The hidden button collar looks pretty good, and pretty slick too

once I receive my trial shirt, this is my next project plus another with an NOBD collar TM.

The collar looks fantastic.
Please let us know the measurements!
A shame Luxire shirts do not get finished with as lovely buttons as that Finamore shirt does.
