I got my RTW order today and managed to click a pic before ripping them out and trying them on:

My first thoughts are (note: I'm not an expert, but have a lot of buying experience - good and bad):
  • Fantastic material. Way, way, way beyond the pricing. The grey graph has lots of subtle detail and the white micro-stripe presents and feels rich.
  • I only had a minute to survey construction but everything looks top notch. The fit/seams for the shoulders, chest, sleeves, and collar is great.
  • The body is "classic" sized, which is gigantic on me (lucky drop 8), but I'm used to having to getting my sides slimmed and maybe some darts added.

Please don't raise your prices but, by way of comparison, if I got these at the same price as my discounted Borrelli's and Barba's, I'd still be happy. And to think, I got these at $24.99. For me, you could double the price and I'd still buy a dozen, get them trimmed locally and be thrilled.

I haven't seen any RTW deal this good, for quality this high, anywhere else - period. Don't offer these as a loss leader, you'll be bankrupt in 3, 2, 1...

I can't wait to get my MTM order together!

I just recieved my first Luxire shirt today, order placed 11/13. The fabric and construction seem to be well worth the price. I look forward to gradually replacing my current shirts with more Luxire models.

I took some quick fit pics of the shirt (click to enlarge). I was going for a slim fit look. I was hoping to get some feedback and suggestions as to how I could dial in the fit going forward. At first glance I notice the bunch behind the armpits and maybe some excess fabric in the waist/hip areas. Thanks much

People at Luxire; what are your favourite fabrics and what are your favourite shirts from Luxire? Would be great if you posted your favourite shirt itself :)

P.S.

Got mine and they fit excellently! Gonna place a bulk order tonight or on friday night!

Fun browsing the Luxire site looking for a favourite. Each fabric is hand-picked and has a story behind it. My only Luxire shirt is the Luxire Gold White With Blue Stripes and love it(Got it made to photograph the handwork package :))

Knowing what I know, if they give me one coupon for a free shirt, I would take the Monti White Dobby Stripes. It is an amazing fabric.

The cotton-silks have received wonderful reviews. Will try one of those post Christmas.

Among the Blues, the Micro herringbone is special.

But before I get a shirt, they want me to get a flannel night-dress so that it can be photographed. That would be my Christmas gift, I guess :(

Nice.

What do you call that style of cuff?  Is there extra fusing in the collar?  Are there special care instructions to maintain that curve?

The Collar is the Luxire Curved English Collar. The curve is natural and would retain its shape for the life of the shirt. No extra care required. Standard fusing used.

The cuff is the Luxire Point-French-cuff

Just ordered my first shirt last night in this fabric which I'm definitely looking forward to.

The only issue I've run into is the collections are starting to look a bit messy at the bottom of the page and multiple filters would go a long way in helping me remember which of the many fabrics I was looking at before. Not enough to deter, but it would be a nice improvement.

Anyone have any feedback/suggestions about my recent order posted above?

Thanks
