Of course, there is better solution call the "murse", but I am deferring that to separate discussion.
They aren't sewn shut. I've never had a problem with pocket sag.

Thanks. It's a lightweight, porous fabric. Pretty sure it's the same weave as a chambray. Definitely for warm weather.
I think I've responded to any direct questions except for two: one was a request for pics of the pants I've gotten from Luxire. Still need to do that. The other was for pics of the new jackets. I still need to get those. We're doing them one at a time and I asked that the first one be delayed and shipped with the harrington.

...
I've posted pis of the regular BD collar w/ tie. It's a great collar imo, w/ or w/o tie.

Actually I can't believe emptym's pants are made from the same fabric as mine.
First of all his pants are noticeable cream/stone in color, mine are off-white at most.
Secondly the fabric of his pants seems to be heavier and thus draping more nicely.
Lastly his pants are obviously not see-through, mine are, both under artificial as well as under natural light.
I bought that fabric in an semi-openair market in Manila, called Kamuning. I'm told it's almost the same as some fabric Luxire has, at least I hope it is, since the new suit they're sending is in one of their fabrics. The Manila fabric is an excellent fabric. All cotton, untreated, but strong, wrinkle-resistant and exactly the right shade. I'd been looking for years for that exact shade. Too often, imo, the shade is too yellow imo.

Thanks emptym!
You prooved a very good eye on the Manila fabric!
Am curious which fabric your suit will come in, please let me know.

Excellent idea. I would suspect that there would be some images that would be of little use due to multiple reasons.

How about a discount for all images we accept for use? If that makes sense, we can mark it official.

We shall start with a $5 reward per image. The pictures will be reviews by someone in our marketing team and if it is accepted, we will reply with an e-gift certificate for the discount.

That's a really nice initiative

Hi,

I received my first luxire shirt a couple of days ago and unfortunately the fit is terrible...your algorithm added waaaaaaay to many inches to my (correct) measurements especially at the waist...even the sleeves are 1 inch longer than I ordered. I contacted your customer service and they replied that the shirt was not made incorrectly and I would have to pay for shipping the shirt back to India where it could be altered....then I would have to pay again for shipping the shirt back to my country...

You´ve got to be kidding me....I did nothing wrong. Based on which criteria will you alter the shirt? What if it still does not fit? I wished I had never ordered a shirt at your company....

Please help!

And what's the difference between NOBD collar 1 and 2?

I use (one of) the same widespread(s) on all my shirts. The NOBD1 is more curved and a bit more widespread/cutaway.

What "algorithm" are you referring to? There should be no math involved here...you send in measurements, and they make a shirt using those measurements. Were the measurements way off compared to the ones you sent them? Also, did you provide body measurements or shirt measurements?

Is this a communication to the company or are you just trying to embarrass them by airing your ordinary fit problems in public? It is complete bullshit to come on here to ari what you believe to be a grievance to try to embarass them into treating you special. And did you actually not realize that a shirt custom fitted to your body ordered from India might require more than a single try to get it right?

A few people have posted shots of their BD collar from what appears to be their waist, but it only helps if the viewer is sucking the model's dick at the time. Maybe we can get some more shots from about 5-6 feet high. You know, where most people are. smile.gif

Did you take body measurements? If so, then the risk of getting it wrong is very high.

Wait, body measurements like the way that lux says to do it on their site are not going to get me a well fitting shirt? What else am I suppose to use?

Measurements of another shirt you have that fits well.

It's hard to get a shirt right just off of body measurements. The same measurements could fit a lot of different bodies, and they really have no way to know the exact configuration of your particular set, much less how you particularly like your shirts to fit.

That's the problem though. None of my shirts fit.

I also didn't have a shirt that fitted well. So what I did is I took 4 shirts and took the measurements of certain parts of that shirt. Let me explain a bit more. Fo example from

Shirt 1: I took the yoke and the sleeve lenght.

Shirt 2: I took the chest measurement (I make a dab call and decided to increase this measurement by one 12", shirt fit nice but chest would look even better if I sticked to the measurement I got)

Shirt 3: The collar

Shirt 4: I took the waist measurement and bottom measurement. Shirt lenght was constant on all of them.
