Luxire, when will you introduce green, i mean Miles Davis GREEN oxford fabric? Not royal oxford.

First shirt from Luxire. Received a few weeks ago wearing for the first time.

Extremely happy with construction, fit and mostly collar. Wished buttons were more pearly than milky, but small nit pic.

Would be nice to get the trochas on my next order. (Probably this week... smile.gif).

It sadly takes time. There are players who deal with only certain types of shells. Then, there a lot of quality issues, reliability issues. Will say atleast a month.

I may have thin trochus for a shirt or 2 in samples, will check and confirm tomorrow.

Also, there are some really good shell options for thin buttons, which cannot be made thick. Their availability is limited and price really high.

I have been quoted $3-$5 per button for some, which would be $45 and upwards in only button costs. Am not sure if they would still find favor. If so, I can stock some for the discerning few.

How much does a premium set of buttons add to an order?
Also, do you plan to extend your range of buttons with a thin premium option?

For the ones shown above, they are $20

For thin premium, will see what I can get my hands on.

Have about 30 new oxford options in production. Will check if this is a part of it as well.

But, we can now offer custom dyed colors for Oxford fabrics, can be dyed to the shade of your choice. Color fast, Ozo free and green, Miles David Green :)

I will happily take your finest plastic buttons.

They have some fancy names: "resin", "pearlized", "uniform horn" among others. You only have to be slightly distracted to fall prey.

Not that they are bad though.

Sounds good! Please tell us immediately when they're available.

I understand. If you want a test shirt for the sample trochas (provided they're not wafer-thin), I am volunteering... smile.gif (Haven't ordered yet.)

$45 and upwards... wow. I wouldn't mind paying, say, 5-10 dollars for more pearly ones (thanks for that term, JP, and nice shirt smile.gif), but that's about it. I thought the premium ones were 10 extra?

I am happily immune to the charms (whatever they are) of pearl buttons. All of my shirts use cufflinks, so I just don't see the appeal of paying extra for things hidden behind my tie.

They are good. We had ordered  a small batch just to check.

Yes, non-cultivated oyster buttons, with no cloud inside and no ice are priced at such a premium. Buttons made of abalone shell are also in the range.

The new batch of premium really stands out.

Srs? There's been blue posted by 1-2 people lately. I've seen questions about green, some posts on grey, etc.

If you want other than blue, post your stuff.

Luxire,  would it be possible to order tailored swim trunks?  I love the look and details of Orlebar Brown swim trunks (side tabs, non-elastic waistband, etc.) but am not sure I'm willing to spend that kind of $$, especially as I don't have easy access to try them on.  It probably would not be feasible to stock fabrics for what would be a limited number of garments; therefore I'm assuming CMT is the only possibility.  Is there anything about polyamide fabrics and polyester linings that would be too difficult to deal with?  Or could other fabrics work just as well (Epic perhaps)?  Could you (or others) think of any other problems this might pose?  Thanks!
